On the news, blackrock recently announced that Nvidia and xAI have officially joined the consortium it formed with microsoft and MGX, an AI investment company in the United Arab Emirates. The consortium's name has also been changed from "Global AI Infrastructure Investment Partnership" to "AI Infrastructure Partnership" (AIP). aip plans to raise $30 billion from investors, asset owners, and companies, with a total investment potential of $100 billion.
Nvidia will continue to serve as AIP's technology advisor, leveraging its expertise in accelerated computing and AI factories to drive the deployment of next-generation AI data center infrastructure. BlackRock said that Nvidia and xAI, as global leaders in AI technology, will further strengthen AIP's commitment and promote the expansion of open architecture platforms and the establishment of a wide ecosystem to support non-exclusive partners.
Nvidia founder and CEO Jensen Huang emphasized that the construction of global AI infrastructure will bring economic growth to the global economy and help address global challenges.
