NVIDIA is introducing the Blackwell architecture, featuring compact, energy-efficient GPUs - RTX PRO 4000 SFF and RTX PRO 2000 - designed to accelerate AI workflows in industries like engineering, design, content creation, and AI. The RTX PRO 4000 SFF offers up to 2.5x higher AI performance, 1.7x higher ray-tracing performance, and 1.5x more bandwidth compared to the previous generation. The RTX PRO 2000 provides up to 1.6x faster 3D modeling, 1.4x faster CAD performance, and 1.6x quicker rendering speeds.

NVIDIA has introduced the Blackwell architecture, featuring two new GPUs, the RTX PRO 4000 SFF and RTX PRO 2000, designed to accelerate AI workflows in various industries. These compact and energy-efficient GPUs are set to enhance performance in engineering, design, content creation, and AI applications.

The RTX PRO 4000 SFF offers significant improvements over its predecessor. It delivers up to 2.5x higher AI performance, 1.7x higher ray-tracing performance, and 1.5x more bandwidth, all while maintaining a 70-watt max power consumption. This efficiency makes it ideal for professional workflows that require high performance but need to be compact and energy-efficient.

The RTX PRO 2000 provides substantial speedups in specific tasks. It offers up to 1.6x faster 3D modeling, 1.4x faster CAD performance, and 1.6x quicker rendering speeds compared to the previous generation. These enhancements are particularly beneficial for businesses in engineering, architecture, media, and healthcare, which rely heavily on these tasks.

Businesses are already seeing the benefits of the new GPUs. The Mile High Flood District in Denver uses the RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell for complex flood simulations and 3D visualizations, while the Government of Cantabria Geospatial Office leverages it for geospatial workloads. Studio Tim Fu and Thornton Tomasetti also report significant performance improvements with the new GPUs.

The software ecosystem around these GPUs is robust. NVIDIA’s AI Enterprise software suite and Cosmos platform enable developers to deploy AI applications efficiently. The Blackwell platform builds on NVIDIA’s extensive ecosystem of development tools and applications, scaling performance across thousands of GPUs.

HPE has also announced advancements in its NVIDIA AI Computing by HPE portfolio, integrating the new NVIDIA AI models and NVIDIA Blueprints into HPE Private Cloud AI. This collaboration will provide enterprises with seamless scalability, air-gapped management, and enterprise multi-tenancy.

The RTX PRO 2000 and RTX PRO 4000 SFF are expected to be available later this year, with the RTX PRO 2000 available from PNY, TD SYNNEX, and system builders like BOXX, Dell Technologies, HP, and Lenovo. The RTX PRO 4000 SFF Edition will be available from global distribution partners and leading manufacturing partners.
