Four Nuveen Municipal Closed-End Funds Receive Shareholder Approval for Proposed Mergers

Shareholders of Nuveen Missouri, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Municipal High Income Opportunity Funds have approved a proposal to merge the funds into Municipal High Income Opportunity Fund (NMZ). The mergers are expected to become effective before April 27, 2026. Each fund has declared a regular monthly distribution payable May 1, 2026. Nuveen is a leading sponsor of closed-end funds with $53 billion in assets under management across 44 CEFs.
