Norfolk Southern Corporation has reached a five-year collective bargaining agreement with the Brotherhood of Railroad Signalmen (BRS), covering nearly 970 team members. The agreement provides significant improvements to pay, healthcare, and vacation benefits. With this agreement, Norfolk Southern has ratified agreements with 12 of its 13 unions, with a tentative agreement pending ratification by the final union. The deal is a result of collaboration between Norfolk Southern and BRS.
