NioCorp Developments Ltd (NB) has broken ground on its Elk Creek Critical Minerals Project in Nebraska, which will produce niobium, scandium, titanium, and rare earth elements. The project's main entrance portal construction is a $44.6 million effort that advances the project from planning to development phase. NioCorp aims to produce rare-earths from ore and recycling post-consumer products, with a focus on producing permanent rare-earth magnets.
