Nike has announced a new round of layoffs, impacting its corporate team, with 1% of employees to be let go. The move comes after CEO Elliott Hill raised the possibility of layoffs in June. The layoffs follow two previous rounds of layoffs in May and June focused on the technology division, and a spring 2024 layoff of 740 employees at its Oregon headquarters. Hill outlined the company's "Win Now" strategy to refocus on performance across the Nike, Jordan Brand, and Converse brands.
