NatWest Group has partnered with Accenture and AWS for a five-year collaboration to transform its digital, data, and AI capabilities, aiming to provide more intuitive and personalized services to its 20 million customers. The collaboration will enable NatWest to deliver against its strategic priorities, including disciplined growth, bank-wide simplification, and active balance sheet and risk management.
NatWest Group has entered into a five-year collaboration with Accenture and Amazon Web Services (AWS) to transform its digital, data, and AI capabilities. The partnership aims to provide more intuitive and personalized services to its 20 million customers.The collaboration will enable NatWest to modernize its digital, data, and analytics capabilities, leveraging Accenture and AWS's advanced cloud, AI, and banking expertise. This will help NatWest anticipate and respond to customer needs faster and more effectively. Additionally, it will enhance the skills of NatWest's colleagues and foster a data-driven culture by providing access to new AI technologies.
The partnership is aligned with NatWest's strategic priorities, including disciplined growth, bank-wide simplification, and active balance sheet and risk management. By introducing state-of-the-art data capabilities for relationship managers, NatWest aims to provide a holistic view of each customer's relationship with the bank. This will enable relationship managers to access and analyze deep insights for each customer, leading to more personalized and proactive experiences.
The collaboration will also accelerate the consolidation of various data streams into a single, bank-wide data platform, enabled by AI. This will provide a more efficient and cohesive banking experience, including faster onboarding through digital verification and streamlined documentation processes. Improved operational performance and simplified operating models are also expected, with greater automation of processes and controls freeing up colleagues to spend more time with customers while reducing costs.
In terms of active balance sheet and risk management, the partnership will improve data quality to support robust security and protection measures. This will enable more efficient complaints handling and improved fraud prevention. Additionally, agile capital management and faster financial, risk, and regulatory reporting are expected through improved data sourcing.
