National Grid Plc dropped 2.50% in premarket trading. The decline may be attributed to the investigation by Pomerantz Law Firm into potential securities fraud or other unlawful business practices by National Grid and certain of its officers and/or directors. The investigation was announced on July 22, 2025, following a report by the United Kingdom's energy system operator, National Energy System Operator, on July 1, 2025.
