NANO Nuclear Energy has announced a milestone ceremony to begin drilling work with the University of Illinois for its patented KRONOS MMR(TM) Micro Modular Reactor Energy System. The KRONOS MMR is a high-temperature gas-cooled microreactor designed to deliver 15 MWe of carbon-free power for various commercial applications. The ceremony will highlight the site characterization and geotechnical activities performed by AECOM and serve as a milestone ahead of NANO Nuclear's planned submission of a construction permit application in Q1 2026.
