Musk responded to reports that OpenAI was considering acquiring Character AI, a startup in the field of chatbots.

1min read Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla (TSLA.US), said on Wednesday that his artificial intelligence startup AI is not considering an acquisition of Character, a startup in the field of chatbots, which was reported earlier to be in talks for a possible acquisition by AI. It is looking for more ways to test its Grok AI model.
Character.AI was founded in 2021 by Noam Shazeer and Daniel De Freitas, both former Google employees, and Shazeer is a co-author of a groundbreaking paper on generative AI, which has made him a celebrity in the field.
