Elon Musk and his lawyers have reportedly asked a California and Delaware judge to auction off OpenAI's shares, which would allow the company to be controlled by outside investors even if it successfully transforms, according to people familiar with the matter. OpenAI has no plans to auction its shares, and Musk and his team "want to create more chaos," the people said.
