Morning Brief| Trump-Related Stocks Surge, Bitcoin Hits New High

Pre-market Movers

Ahead of Monday's trading, the three major U.S. stock index futures were up, with Dow futures up 0.43%, S&P 500 futures up 0.02% and Nasdaq 100 futures up 0.22% at press time.

Trump Victory Momentum Continues: 

Following Donald Trump's election win, DJT up nearly 7% pre-market, Tesla is also up over 5%.

Bitcoin reached new record highs, fueling a rally in cryptocurrency stocks. As of this report, Marathon Digital surged nearly 15%, Bit Digital over 13%, and Coinbase, Riot Platforms, and Canaan all gained more than 11%, with MicroStrategy up over 9%.

Chinese EV stocks also showed gains pre-market. XPeng rose nearly 4%, Li Auto 3%, NIO 0.98%, and Zeekr 0.77%. According to data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, in October, production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 1.463 million and 1.43 million units, respectively, marking year-on-year growth of 48% and 49.6%.
