Moca Network, a flagship project of Animoca Brands, has partnered with SK Planet, a leading Data & Tech company in South Korea, to launch OKI Club, a Web3-based premium membership program. The launch aims to integrate Web3 technology into SK Planet’s OK Cashbag app, marking the first large-scale enterprise use of Moca Network’s AIR Kit SDK for Web3 onboarding.

Kenneth Shek, the project lead of Moca Network, emphasized the significance of this partnership, stating that it blurs the line between Web2 and Web3 by having AIR Kit natively integrated with the consumer app with millions of users and its existing internet services. This collaboration is expected to expand together with SK Planet’s consumer ecosystem.

OKI Club is designed to bring blockchain functionality and interoperable digital identity to the SK Planet platform, enabling retail users to access Web3 services natively within a Web2 app. This development offers SK Planet users the opportunity to join OKI Club and earn rewards by signing up for an AIR account within their OK Cashbag app. Users who sign up for an AIR account will receive OCB Points and MOCA Coin for their participation in OKI Club.

In addition to the rewards, users will unlock additional in-app benefits within OK Cashbag by accruing identity and reputation data from their AIR accounts. They will also enjoy cross-ecosystem benefits from the broader Moca Network. This partnership between Moca Network and SK Planet is targeted at fostering widespread Web3 adoption on one of South Korea’s most popular consumer platforms.

The collaboration will also help expand MOCA Coin’s utility across gaming, intellectual property (IP), sports, and entertainment as SK Planet leverages Web3 to enhance consumer engagement strategies.
