The US used up to 20% of its THAAD missile interceptors during the Iran-Israel war, each costing over $18 million. War is expensive, and the use of missiles as weapons is becoming more prevalent. However, this approach is costly and may not be effective against hypersonic missiles. The military-industrial complex always wins, as politicians and defense contractors prefer expensive high-tech weapons. War ultimately amounts to setting wealth on fire, and the US, Ukraine, and Israel are all struggling under the weight of war expenditures and debt. Giving more money and missiles won't solve their problems.
