Zhitong Finance learned that Microsoft (MSFT.US) unveiled the "Wave2of Copilot" project, further integrating its artificial intelligence features into its main products. Microsoft announced on Monday the launch of the new Copilot Pages feature, aiming to become a platform for multi-person AI collaboration. Copilot Pages allows using Microsoft's Copilot chatbot and adding its responses to a new page for collaboration editing.
Jared Spataro, Microsoft's vice president of workplace AI, said, "You and your team can work together on a page with Copilot's help, see each other's work in real-time, and collaborate with Copilot like a partner to add more of your data, files, and web content to the page. It's a whole new way of working — a way of working with multiple people and AI together."
Microsoft also added the Copilot feature to its Microsoft365 applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Word, OneDrive, and Outlook. Microsoft365 Copilot users can start using these new features today. Other users will get them in the coming weeks.
Microsoft also launched Copilot agents for all businesses. Copilot Studio can now be used to build custom agents. The company said, "They can reason, be trained, and even know when to ask for help. Some are fully autonomous and can coordinate other agents. These agents can extract valuable data from SharePoint, Microsoft Dynamics365, or your business systems and help Copilot become smarter about your business and its processes. You can also extend their capabilities by giving agents new skills, such as sending emails, updating records, or creating support tickets. This is just the beginning of the second wave. In the next two months, we have more to show you."
