Mexican Airlines Merge to Create Joint Group

Volaris and Grupo Viva Aerobus are merging to form a new Mexican airline group, with equal ownership stakes for shareholders. The merger will maintain separate operations and brand identities, with regulatory approvals and shareholder consent pending. Completion is expected in 2026. The new entity will be publicly traded on the Bolsa Mexicana de Valores and the NYSE.
