As Chief Accounting Officer, O’Neill will oversee all corporate accounting and reporting activities, as well as financial planning and analysis. She will ensure that MetLife’s financial information is communicated in compliance with all applicable standards and regulatory requirements [1].
O’Neill replaces interim Chief Accounting Officer Toby Srihiran Brown, who will continue in his role as Executive Vice President and Global Head of Reinsurance [1]. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration with Honors from Wilfrid Laurier University in Ontario, Canada. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst and Chartered Professional Accountant, and was recognized as a CPA fellow in 2023 for her exceptional service to the profession and community [2].
