Memphis Grizzlies Trade 4 Picks for Cedric Coward in NBA Draft

The Memphis Grizzlies traded four draft picks to acquire Washington State guard Cedric Coward with the 11th overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. The Grizzlies sent the 16th pick, a 2028 first-round pick, and two second-round picks to the Portland Trail Blazers for Coward. The Houston Rockets selected Duke freshman center Khaman Maluach with the 10th pick but will send him to the Phoenix Suns as part of a trade that sent Kevin Durant from the Suns to the Rockets. The Suns also acquired center Mark Williams from the Charlotte Hornets for the 29th pick and a 2029 first-round pick.
