Melrose Industries Appoints Guy Hachey to Board as Non-Executive Director

Melrose Industries has appointed Guy Hachey as a Non-Executive Director, effective August 18, 2025. Hachey is a seasoned aerospace industry leader with over 30 years of experience. He previously served as President and COO of Bombardier Aerospace and held various leadership roles at Delphi Corporation and General Motors. Currently, he is a non-executive director at Hexcel Corporation.

Melrose Industries PLC ("Melrose" or the "Company") has announced the appointment of Guy Hachey as a Non-Executive Director, effective August 18, 2025. This appointment brings a seasoned aerospace industry leader with over 30 years of experience to the board.

Guy Hachey has a distinguished career in the aerospace, defense, and industrial sectors. He served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Bombardier Aerospace, Inc., from 2008 until 2014. Following this, he held executive roles at Delphi Corporation, including Vice President, President of Delphi Powertrain Systems, and President of Delphi Europe, Middle East, and Africa. He also served as an operating partner at Advent International from 2016 until 2021. Hachey's career began at General Motors Corporation, where he held manufacturing and engineering leadership positions in Canada and the United States.

Currently, Hachey is a non-executive director at Hexcel Corporation, a global specialist in advanced composites technology for the commercial aerospace, defense, space, and industrial sectors. He has served on Hexcel's board since 2014, chairing its compensation committee and serving on its nominating, governance, and sustainability committees. Previously, he was a non-executive director at Meggitt PLC, which was acquired by Parker Hannifin into the Parker Aerospace Group in 2022.
