Malayan Banking Bhd (Maybank) has entered into a strategic partnership with Microsoft, valued at approximately RM1 billion over five years, to accelerate its digital transformation journey. The agreement will see Maybank adopting Microsoft's collaboration suite, cloud, AI, and security capabilities [1].
Under the partnership, Maybank will upgrade its existing capabilities to Microsoft 365, and adopt Microsoft Azure as one of its main cloud platforms for strategic systems, functions, and data workloads.
