A massive fire broke out at a commercial complex in Guwahati, India, and remained untamed for over 33 hours despite efforts from multiple fire agencies. More than 25 fire tenders, including those from the Indian Air Force and Indian Army, have been struggling to douse the blaze. The fire is believed to have originated on the second floor of the building, which houses a shopping mall and an SBI office. No casualties have been reported, but one firefighter sustained a minor injury. The cause of the fire is still unknown.
