Brigade Hotel Ventures has partnered with Marriott International to open six hotels in four key markets in India. The hotels will feature five Marriott brands, totaling 940 rooms. The expansion plan will begin with Courtyard Marriott in Chennai in FY27 and end with JW Marriott in Chennai by FY30, adding to the existing eight hotels in the partnership.

This collaboration will introduce six new hotels, totaling 940 rooms, across key Indian markets. The properties will operate under Marriott Bonvoy brands, including The Ritz-Carlton and JW Marriott [1].
The expansion will introduce properties under five of Marriott’s globally renowned Marriott Bonvoy brands – The Ritz-Carlton, JW Marriott, Marriott Hotels & Resorts, Courtyard by Marriott, and Fairfield by Marriott [2]. Known for its construction excellence, BHVL has played a pivotal role in shaping India’s urban hospitality landscape, with a strong presence in major South Indian cities. This latest agreement builds on the company’s nearly 15-year partnership with Marriott, further cementing a relationship that has already produced landmark projects [1].
The upcoming hotels will be located in Chennai, Bengaluru, Thiruvananthapuram, and Kochi. The first hotel to open will be the Courtyard by Marriott Chennai World Trade Center in FY 2027, followed by the Fairfield by Marriott Bengaluru International Airport and Fairfield by Marriott Bengaluru Brigade Valencia in FY 2028. The Ritz-Carlton Vaikom Island in Kerala, JW Marriott Chennai OMR, and Thiruvananthapuram Marriott Hotel World Trade Center are scheduled to open in FY 2030 [3].
With the addition of these six upcoming hotels, alongside the existing Sheraton Grand Bangalore at Brigade Gateway and Four Points by Sheraton Kochi Infopark, BHVL’s Marriott portfolio will grow to eight hotels, totaling 1,388 keys [1].
