Market Winners: The Trade Desk Soars 12.5%, Eli Lilly Gains Big

1. The Trade Desk (Nasdaq: TTD)
The Trade Desk surged by 12.5%. The Trade Desk reported Q2 fiscal 2024 results, with revenue of $1.08 billion and a net profit of $117 million. BTIG, Susquehanna, Keybanc, and Macquarie all maintain positive ratings on The Trade Desk, raising price targets to between $114 and $135.

2. Eli Lilly Andmpany (NYSE: LLY)
Eli Lilly Andmpany gained solidly by 5.57%. Eli Lilly released its mid-year report on August 8, 2024, showing a 31.42% YoY revenue increase to $200.71 billion. Both Wells Fargo and B of A Securities maintain positive ratings on Eli Lilly, with increased price targets to $1000 and $1125, respectively.

3. Palo Alto Networks (Nasdaq: PANW)
Palo Alto Networks gained solidly by 4.45%. Palo Alto Networks disclosed 13 insider transactions on August 7, 2024. Barclays raised the price target to $350 while maintaining an Overweight rating. Redburn Atlantic downgraded the company to Neutral with a target of $325. Keybanc maintains Overweight, setting the target at $380.

4. Nu Holdings Ltd. (NYSE: NU)
Nu Holdings Ltd. gained solidly by 4.29%. Nu Holdings will hold its annual shareholders meeting on August 13, 2024. UBS downgraded Nu Holdings to Neutral with a $13.50 price target. JP Morgan also downgraded it to Neutral, raising the price target to $14.50. Susquehanna maintains a Positive rating with a $16.00 price target, and Goldman Sachs maintains a Buy rating, increasing the price target to $17.00.

5. Sea Limited (NYSE: SE)
Sea Limited gained solidly by 3.51%. Sea Ltd. announced the appointment of Natalia Goh as Head of Digital Banking to accelerate its Southeast Asia fintech expansion. Sea Ltd's PT Shopee International Indonesia agreed with Indonesian antitrust regulators to overhaul its delivery services. Citigroup and B of A Securities maintain Buy ratings on Sea Ltd.
