Market Dips and New Launches: Nike, Sony, Block, Palantir, Vertiv

1. Palantir Technologies (NYSE: PLTR)
Palantir Technologies dipped mildly by -2.55%. Palantir disclosed an insider transaction where Director Eric H. Woersching sold 3,000 shares on June 18, 2024. Monness, Crespi, Hardt downgraded Palantir to "sell" with a new price target of $20. Palantir reported Q1 2024 revenue of $6.

2. Block (NYSE: SQ)
Block dipped mildly by -2.58%. Block disclosed one insider trade on July 10, 2024, where executive Ahuja Amrita sold 1,147 shares on July 8. On July 8, Keefe, Bruyette & Woods maintained a Market Perform rating for Block, lowering the price target to $74.00.

3. Vertiv Holdings (NYSE: VRT)
Vertiv Holdings dipped mildly by -2.59%. Vertiv Technology facilitated innovation in AI and scientific research.

4. Nike (NYSE: NKE)
Nike dipped mildly by -2.62%. Nike will release Tekken 8 x Nike collaborative sneakers with Bandai Namco. The "Tekken 8 x Nike Air Foamposite One Fist" will feature two designs. Nike's FY2024 Q4 and full-year revenue totaled $51.4 billion, showing minimal growth. Additionally, Nike is focusing on ESG initiatives and launched the "Tsinghua-Nike Sustainability Leadership Program."

5. Sony Group (NYSE: SONY)
Sony Group dipped mildly by -2.71%. Sony announced a replacement service for misprinted Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth discs in Japan. Sony unveiled the ZV-E10 II mirrorless camera, priced at $999, featuring 4K video capability. Sony Music and ANIPLEX formed a joint venture with the developer of Fantasy Beast Palu. Sony filed a patent for temperature-controlled shoulder buttons on controllers.
