Thomas J. Chmelik, CFO of MainStreet Bancshares, will retire on December 31, 2025, but continue as Senior Executive Vice President and Secretary through 2027. Chmelik is a co-founder of MainStreet Bank and has a career spanning over 20 years, including work on a World Bank initiative in Tanzania. He has served as CFO of four successful community banks in the Washington, DC area.
