Maersk Air Cargo expands its freighter network to South America, operating Boeing 767-300 cargo jets on twice-weekly routes from Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport to Bogota, Colombia, and Chicago-Rockford International Airport to Santiago, Chile. The airline aims to handle 500,000 tons of cargo by 2030, up from 327,000 tons last year. Maersk has also hired two experienced airfreight executives from DB Schenker to lead its global air and less-than-containerload operations.
