M1 Support Services has been awarded a $699 million contract by the California Department of Forestry & Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) for Aviation Logistical Services - Pilots and Mechanics. The contract will support CAL FIRE's world-renowned aviation program, which responds to thousands of wildland fires across California annually. M1 will provide maintenance, repair and overhaul services, flight operations, and logistics for CAL FIRE's fleet of aircraft, including Lockheed Martin C-130 Hercules and Grumman S-2T airtankers. The contract has a five-year term and includes options that could increase the value to $699 million.
