Delta Air Lines (DAL.US) will link its SkyMiles loyalty program with Uber (UBER.US) this spring, while ending its existing relationship with Lyft (LYFT.US) in April, the airline announced on Monday.

Under the new partnership, SkyMiles members will earn one mile for every dollar spent on Uber Eats orders, one mile for every dollar spent on UberX airport rides, two miles for every dollar spent on Uber Black rides, and three miles for every dollar spent on Uber Reserve trips.

"Fifteen percent of all Uber rides start or end at an airport, so we know our customers can earn Delta miles with just one tap," said Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi in a statement.

Delta Air Lines CEO Ed Bastian said the partnership "will give passengers more options to get where they want to go in the way that works best for them."

Customers will still be able to earn miles through Lyft rides as of April 7, a Delta spokesperson said. "Customers with linked accounts will receive direct communication from Delta and Lyft in the coming days regarding the transition."

Delta also introduced its artificial intelligence-powered digital tool Delta Concierge, which will be added to its Fly Delta app this year. The tool will also be connected to Joby's (JOBY.US) electric air taxi service, which is expected to begin operating at Delta's New York and Los Angeles hubs in the coming years, pending regulatory approval.
