LVMH has announced the appointment of Frédéric Arnault as CEO of Loro Piana from June 10, 2025. Damien Bertrand has been appointed Deputy CEO of Louis Vuitton and will join the LVMH Executive Committee in January 2026. The CEO of Fendi will be announced shortly.
Luxury fashion conglomerate LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton (LVMH) has announced a series of executive appointments, effective from June 2025 [1]. Damien Bertrand, currently CEO of Loro Piana, will assume the role of deputy CEO of Louis Vuitton and join the LVMH Executive Committee. Bertrand will be succeeded by Frédéric Arnault, who will become CEO of Loro Piana.
Bertrand, an 18-year veteran of the French beauty giant L'Oréal, joined LVMH in 2021 as CEO of Loro Piana. Prior to that, he held various senior positions at Christian Dior Couture from 2016 to 2021, including managing director in charge of the women's, men's, and baby's business units [1]. Bertrand's appointment as deputy CEO of Louis Vuitton marks his return to the brand, where he previously worked under Pietro Beccari, who is now chairman and CEO of Louis Vuitton [1].
Arnault, the second youngest of LVMH chairman and CEO Bernard Arnault's five children, has been appointed CEO of LVMH Watches since 2019 [1]. He will join Loro Piana on March 26, 2025, for a transition period with Bertrand. Arnault's appointment as CEO of Loro Piana marks his first leadership role outside of the watches division.
The executive shuffle also includes the appointment of Pierre-Emmanuel Angeloglou as deputy CEO of Christian Dior Couture [1]. Angeloglou, another L'Oréal executive, joined Vuitton in 2019 as strategic missions director for fashion and leather goods and later became executive vice president in 2021 [1]. Angeloglou will be reunited with Delphine Arnault, who left Vuitton to become chairman and CEO of Christian Dior Couture in 2023 [1].
Bernard Arnault, chairman and CEO of LVMH, commented on the appointments, saying, "Our maisons' desirability is fueled by dedicated and passionate leaders. Damien, Frédéric, and Pierre-Emmanuel's vision, entrepreneurial spirit, creativity, and commitment to excellence will be assets to pursue the dynamic development of our maisons" [1].
The executive shuffle also sets the stage for a new manager-designer duo at Fendi. Angeloglou, who became managing director of LVMH Fashion Group in March 2024, was appointed CEO of Fendi last May [1]. Kim Jones, Fendi's artistic director of haute couture, ready-to-wear, and fur, stepped down last October [1].
