Callieri brings extensive experience from his previous roles at Victoria's Secret & Co. and Tory Burch. At Victoria's Secret, he led a global team across multiple geographies and product categories, while at Tory Burch, he implemented systems like PLM, Merchandise Planning, and SAP, and led the transformation of the supply chain. Prior to these roles, Callieri held senior positions at Adidas and HRC Advisory, where he developed strategies to improve supply chain responsiveness and product innovation.
The appointment comes at a critical time for Levi Strauss, as the company navigates global supply chain upheavals due to ongoing tariff uncertainty and disruptions in the Red Sea. These disruptions have contributed to a recent 15% increase in inventory costs. Callieri's experience and leadership are expected to help Levi Strauss navigate these challenges and enhance its supply chain operations.
Levi Strauss & Co. reported net revenues of $6.4 billion in 2024 and earnings per share of 22 cents in the second quarter of 2025, significantly surpassing analysts' expectations. The company's strong financial performance and transformation into a global, multi-channel lifestyle brand have been reflected in several investment firms adjusting their price targets for the company. UBS, TD Cowen, and Stifel have all increased their price targets, citing the company's strong execution and balanced strength.
Callieri's appointment is part of a series of recent changes to Levi Strauss's C-Suite leadership. The company has yet to fill the position of Craig Jones, who held the position of senior VP of distribution and logistics operations before leaving for the premium sportswear brand On.
