Lomiko Metals has identified new multi-element anomalies at its Yellow Fox property in Newfoundland. The company conducted a sampling program and found significant results, but details of the findings were not disclosed. The property is located near other nickel and copper deposits, suggesting potential for further exploration.

Lomiko Metals Inc. (TSX.V: LMR) has announced the discovery of new multi-element anomalies at its Yellow Fox property in Newfoundland. The company conducted a soil sampling program that identified several anomalies comprised of multiple pathfinder elements, including gold (Au), antimony (Sb), silver (Ag), zinc (Zn), lead (Pb), arsenic (As), iron (Fe), and manganese (Mn), exhibiting similar traits to those of the historic soil survey conducted over the Yellow Fox Showing [1].

The anomalies were discovered through a program that collected 551 soil samples along ten 250m spaced lines trending 110 degrees. These new anomalies are trending roughly North-Northeast (N-NE), similar to the highly prospective regional structures that also trend N-NE [1]. The program targeted areas south of the Yellow Fox Showing, where soil samples returned 59.413 g/t gold and areas of increased density of interpreted structures.

The Yellow Fox property is an early-stage exploration project prospective in antimony, gold, and silver. Previous trenching exposed bedrock, resulting in grab samples up to 59.43g/t Au, 11.10% Sb, 7.00% Zn, 72.90g/t Ag, and 5.50% Pb in arsenopyrite-stibnite veins within altered monzogranite [1]. The property is located approximately 10 km southwest of the Town of Glenwood, NL, and south of the Trans-Canada Highway.

Lomiko Metals has also received approval for its Yellow Fox antimony and gold prospect exploration project under the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador’s Mineral Incentive Program, designating it as a "Critical Minerals as a Primary Exploration Target" project. This prioritization ensures eligibility for CMA and PCMA funding [1].

The next stages of exploration will include ground geophysics to better define the orientation and location of high-priority targets, followed by surface trenching. The company has already received line cutting, ground geophysics, and surface trenching permits.
