LME copper stocks down 50 ton on Aug 15 from previous day
According to the latest data from the London Metal Exchange (LME), the inventory of copper stood at 155,800 tonnes on August 15, 2025, representing a decrease of 50 tonnes from the previous day. Over the past week, copper stocks have decreased by a cumulative total of 50 tonnes, which is a 0.03% drop. However, in the last month, copper stocks have increased by a cumulative total of 34,800 tonnes, which is a 28.76% rise. Historical data shows that the LME copper inventory has fluctuated between a high of 322,950 tonnes on August 17, 2022, and a low of 51,175 tonnes. The average inventory level has been 156,949.77 tonnes. Compared to the average, the current inventory of 155,800 tonnes is 0.74% lower.
