LiveWire Dominates Electric Motorcycle Market with 70% Share, But Sales Remain Limited

LiveWire, the Harley-Davidson-born electric motorcycle spinoff, has claimed a 70% market share in the 50+ horsepower on-road electric motorcycle segment in 2025. However, the company sold only 653 electric motorcycles in the year, up 7% from 612 units in 2024. Revenue in the electric motorcycle segment fell 28% year over year to $6.1 million, largely due to increased incentives that reduced pricing. LiveWire's STACYC segment, which sells electric balance bikes for kids, sold 21,633 units and posted a small operating profit in Q4.
