Chinese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer Li Auto Inc. (LI) has announced significant updates for the coming months. The company reported delivering 28,529 vehicles in August, bringing its cumulative deliveries to 1.39 million vehicles as of August 31 [1].

In September, Li Auto will launch the Li i6, a battery electric SUV priced between approximately RMB 250,000 and RMB 300,000. The Li i6 is expected to be a competitive addition to the company's lineup, targeting the growing demand for electric SUVs in the Chinese market.

Additionally, Li Auto will release OTA 8.0 in September. This update will roll out the VLA Driver large model to all Li AD Max users and introduce an evolved Li Xiang Tong Xue Agent. As of August 31, Li Auto had 543 retail stores in 156 cities, 536 servicing centers, and Li Auto-authorized body and paint shops operating in 222 cities. The company also operated 3,190 functioning super charging stations equipped with 17,597 charging stalls in China.
