Li Auto's July Deliveries Drop 40% YoY, Down 15% MoM

Li Auto, a Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer, delivered 30,731 vehicles in July 2022, a 39.74% year-on-year decrease. This marks a 15.29% month-over-month drop from June 2022. In the first seven months of the year, Li Auto delivered 234,669 vehicles, a year-on-year decrease.

Li Auto, a prominent Chinese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, reported a significant decline in its monthly deliveries for July 2025. The company delivered 30,731 vehicles in July, marking a 39.74% year-on-year decrease [1]. This performance follows a 15.29% month-over-month drop from June 2025, extending the company's weak performance into another month.

In the first seven months of 2025, Li Auto delivered a total of 234,669 vehicles, representing a 2.21% year-on-year decrease [1]. This downward trend in monthly deliveries has brought year-to-date deliveries below the same period last year.

Li Auto's July 2025 deliveries were further impacted by the launch of its new all-electric SUV, the Li i8, on July 29 [1]. The six-seat model starts at RMB 321,800 ($44,610), with deliveries set to begin on August 20.

The company's domestic peer, Nio Inc (NYSE: NIO), launched the L90 large electric SUV from its sub-brand Onvo on July 31 [1]. The Onvo L90 starts at a lower price of RMB 265,800, including an 85-kWh battery pack.

Li Auto has a total of 535 retail stores, 527 service centers, and 3,028 supercharging stations in China, equipped with 16,671 charging stalls as of July 31 [1].
