The startup's key offerings include Bakuraku, a platform that automates corporate expense workflows; Alterna, a digital investment platform; and Ai Workforce, a generative AI solution designed to optimize work processes. LayerX was founded by Yoshinori Fukushima, a serial entrepreneur with a background in machine learning and digital transformation. The startup emerged from a digitalization and blockchain project and quickly gained traction with its innovative AI-driven platform Bakuraku. The platform has secured partnerships with prominent Japanese companies like Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) and has been competing with other AI-driven automation solutions such as Money Forward Cloud Keihi, freee, and Rakuraku Seisan [2].
The funding round will enable LayerX to expand its offerings and market reach, particularly in the Japanese market. The company aims to continue improving its platform's AI capabilities and user experience, addressing the unique needs of Japanese enterprises. As the demand for AI-driven solutions grows, LayerX is well-positioned to capitalize on this trend, offering a robust and scalable platform for enterprise automation [2].
