LightPath Technologies' subsidiary G5 Infrared has been awarded a $2.2 million order from L3Harris Technologies to support the US Navy's Shipboard Panoramic Electro-Optic/Infrared (SPEIR) Program. G5 will provide infrared cameras for the program, with deliveries scheduled for 2025. The SPEIR Program aims to integrate detection and cueing capability for anti-ship cruise missile defense to counter-fast attack craft and inshore attack craft.
