In addition to the rebranding, KWESST Micro Systems has showcased several key technologies and products at the opening of its new facility. These include the Battlefield Laser Detection System, which has already received its first order from a military systems integrator for a North American armored vehicle program. The company also highlighted its ARWEN line of non-lethal products, which have saved hundreds of lives, and the new PARA "Mini" and "Micro" versions currently undergoing customer evaluation.
The company's situational awareness capabilities, including the "Lightning" version adapted for the public security market, were also featured. This technology incorporates TAK and offers rapid incident-ready features under a SaaS model, making it accessible on any smart device for an affordable monthly subscription fee. The new facility, more than twice the size of the previous location, is designed to accommodate the company's rapid growth and expansion.
