Kroger Appoints New Central Division President Amid Executive Shuffles

Kroger has promoted Mike Goodwin, vice president of operations for the Fred Meyer Division, to president of the Central Division. Goodwin succeeds Colleen Juergensen, who is retiring after 45 years with Kroger. This appointment is part of a series of division-level changes Kroger has undergone since mid-2025. Goodwin's new title takes effect April 1 and he will oversee stores in Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, and Ohio.
