Kraken Brings Tokenized U.S. Stocks to Binance Chain

Kraken, a prominent cryptocurrency exchange, has announced a significant development in the realm of tokenized stocks. The company is set to bring tokenized U.S. stocks to the Binance Chain, marking a notable advancement in the multichain integration of real-world assets (RWAs). This initiative will provide users with enhanced flexibility in accessing and trading equities on-chain.

Through a new partnership, Kraken will enable users to deposit and withdraw tokenized U.S. stocks, including TSLA, AAPL, NVDA, and SPY, via the BNB network. These tokenized equities, referred to as xStocks, will be deployed on Binance Chain as BEP-20 tokens and integrated into the Stock Alliance. The Stock Alliance is a coalition dedicated to expanding the reach of tokenized assets, aiming to bridge the gap between traditional finance and decentralized finance (DeFi).

This expansion positions Binance Chain as one of the few networks, alongside Solana, to support tokenized equities. The assets will be tradable on PancakeSwap and compatible with various DeFi tools across the BNB ecosystem. This compatibility offers users opportunities for trading, lending, and yield generation, further integrating traditional financial instruments with the DeFi landscape.

Kraken’s co-CEO, Arjun Sethi, highlighted the growing demand for xStocks, indicating a shift in capital markets toward a multichain and composable model. The firm views tokenized stocks not merely as digital representations of real-world assets but as a structural enhancement to the way finance operates. This perspective aligns with the broader industry trend of leveraging blockchain technology to create more efficient and transparent financial systems.

The BNB Chain team also expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, noting that it allows decentralized finance users to engage with traditional equities in a completely on-chain, customizable manner. The rollout of xStocks is anticipated to go live later this month, further solidifying the integration of tokenized assets into the broader financial ecosystem.
