At least three people have died and dozens were injured after a tram car derailed in Lisbon on Wednesday. The Gloria Funicular, a popular tourist attraction, crashed against a building after the cable supporting the tram car snapped. The incident has been condemned by Portugal's President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, who has offered his condolences to the families affected. The cause of the derailment is currently unknown.
