As of the end of 2024, the company has already achieved a 54% reduction in these emissions.David Parkin, chair of the HyNet Alliance, praised the project's results, emphasizing the positive impact of hydrogen investment on industry and society. He highlighted the importance of businesses like Kellanova leading the way in exploring low-carbon fuels and contributing to the UK's journey towards net-zero carbon emissions. The successful demonstration is expected to inspire other food manufacturers to adopt similar decarbonization strategies, fostering a greener future for the industry.
