Karpus Management and Brooklyn Capital Management have agreed to settle a dispute with BlackRock registered closed-end funds over the ownership of a convertible note. The settlement includes a payment of $10 million and the transfer of ownership of the note to BlackRock. The agreement also includes provisions for the termination of a 2007 agreement and the release of all claims between the parties.
