Karnataka Revenue Minister Clarifies on Regularisation of Licensed Surveyors

Karnataka Revenue Minister Krishna Byregowda clarified that regularizing licensed surveyors appointed on an ad-hoc basis is not possible due to established standards and court verdicts. Despite this, the government is paying them for carrying out surveys of government lands and water bodies. Minister Byregowda also addressed a query regarding contractors from category 1 and 2A of backward classes, stating that a government order to make changes in the software has been issued, but the necessary changes have not been made by NIC.
