Karnataka Aims to Add 1,513 Medical Seats in Government Colleges

Karnataka has the potential to add 1,513 Under Graduate and Post Graduate medical seats in government medical colleges, according to its implementation plan for expanding medical education. The plan includes creating seats using existing infrastructure, starting standalone PG institutes, and establishing 157 nursing colleges co-located with medical colleges. The state has also constituted the Karnataka State Allied and Healthcare Council.
