Kangpul Chemical: Revenues reached Rmb1.3bn in Q2, up 22.12% YoY.
As of August 14, Kangpu Chemical (834033) released its half-yearly report, and the company actively responded to the complex and changeable market environment in the first half of this year, and made positive progress in the market expansion of the products such as the collector and acid mist suppressant. During the reporting period, the company achieved operating revenue of Rmb196 million, down 11.08% YoY; net profit attributable to the parent was Rmb59.82 million, down 17.86% YoY. Among them, the company achieved operating revenue of Rmb130 million in the second quarter, up 22.12% YoY.
The company said that it faced the impact of the decrease in the demand for copper collector plating slots from important customers in the first quarter of this year, which led to a slight decline in the overall operating performance compared with the same period last year. In the second quarter, the company actively expanded the market and the performance began to rise significantly.
In April this year, Kangpu Chemical Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd. (Chongqing) New Energy Metal Materials Research Institute was completed and started operation in June. In the future, the company will rely on the advanced experimental equipment and perfect scientific research facilities to accelerate the cultivation of new quality productivity, strengthen innovation and drive the formation of industry-leading technology in the field of new energy materials.
In addition, another public offering project of the company, "10,000 tons of special surface active agent project", the main project has been completed, the equipment installation has been completed, and it has passed the expert review. After the related finishing work is completed, it will enter the trial production process.
