Jumper Exchange has recently expanded its capabilities by integrating Etherlink, a layer 2 blockchain on the Tezos network. This integration allows users to bridge assets to and from Etherlink across over 50 different blockchains, with initial support for
Mainnet, Arbitrum, and Base. The primary goal of this integration is to enhance the accessibility of Etherlink, which aggregates liquidity from 22 bridges and 16 decentralized exchanges (DEXs) to optimize transaction execution paths. This move enables users to seamlessly transfer assets from major chains to Etherlink. The integration comes at a time of significant growth for the Etherlink ecosystem. The total value locked in Etherlink has surged to over $39 million, marking a 434% increase from $7 million in the past month. This rapid growth is attributed to the recent deployment of the Dionysus and Calypso upgrades, which have notably improved the network’s throughput and scalability. These enhancements have positioned Etherlink as a high-performance layer 2 solution, making it an attractive option for users seeking efficient and secure transactions.
Ali Al-Ali, Product Manager at Jumper Exchange, expressed enthusiasm about the integration, stating, “We’re excited to bring Etherlink into our multi-chain ecosystem. Etherlink’s combination of EVM compatibility and Tezos security makes it a natural fit for our platform. Our users can now access this high-performance Layer 2 with the same transparent, zero-fee experience they expect from Jumper.” The integration supports Etherlink’s EVM compatibility, allowing for seamless interaction with existing Ethereum tools, wallets, and indexers. Users can access bridging functionality through the Jumper website by selecting Etherlink as their destination or source chain, further streamlining the process of transferring assets across different blockchains.
