Job&Talent, a global leader in workforce platforms for essential industries, has significantly expanded its artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities to enhance productivity for shift-based workers. The company has introduced three new AI agents—Sara, Teo, and Maria—joining its existing Clara AI recruiter. These tools aim to streamline operations by improving fulfillment, attendance, worker quality, and retention, addressing persistent inefficiencies in frontline industries.
Clara, the AI recruiter, has already demonstrated substantial impact, conducting over 190,000 interviews and delivering more than 22,000 hires since its launch in late 2024. She operates 65% faster than traditional recruiting methods, achieving 90% satisfaction rates from candidates. Clara is particularly effective during high-demand periods, such as Black Friday, where she reduced time-to-hire for one employer from eight weeks to just three.
Sara, the AI attendance coach, tackles high absenteeism by detecting no-shows in real time and contacting absent workers within 10 minutes. It captures reasons for absence and provides tailored coaching to improve future behavior. By reinforcing compliance and embedding new attendance habits, Sara has achieved a 30% reduction in absenteeism, contributing to improved reliability in complex shift environments.
Teo functions as a 24/7 AI account manager, proactively monitoring workforce data and identifying potential staffing gaps before they disrupt operations. Supervisors can ask Teo real-time questions about absences, open shifts, or at-risk assignments, and the tool provides actionable insights. It can also autonomously invite backup workers or update shift plans. Teo enables teams to maintain productivity without overloading staff, offering a real-time planning assistant.
Maria, the AI performance coach, focuses on early identification of underperformance and delivers personalized, confidence-building feedback to frontline workers. It uses real-time supervisor and worker feedback to generate actionable guidance, promoting measurable improvements in workforce quality and productivity. Each coaching session is summarized for both worker and supervisor, fostering a transparent feedback loop.
Juan Urdiales, Co-CEO and Co-Founder of Job&Talent, emphasized the platform’s mission to enhance productivity while supporting worker development. He stated that by combining industry knowledge with AI and automation, the company is reducing no-shows, improving worker retention, and delivering measurable outcomes across the employment lifecycle. These AI applications are part of a broader strategy to support every stage of the workforce journey, with further developments already in progress.
Job&Talent operates in more than 10 countries across Europe, the U.S., and Latin America, placing over 300,000 workers annually in industries such as logistics, manufacturing, and retail. Its platform is designed to address inefficiencies that disproportionately affect shift-based workers, who number over 2.7 billion globally. The company’s expansion into AI-driven workforce management reflects a growing trend to leverage technology to support this demographic, which often includes essential workers in industries with high operational demands and staffing challenges.
