JBS Expands Middle East Presence with Oman Venture

JBS is setting up a joint venture with Oman Food Capital to establish production in Oman. The venture will consolidate two existing assets and add to JBS' Middle East presence, with a $150m equity investment. The production will aim to ensure food security in Oman and position the country as a center for halal products. The venture is expected to reach a static industrial production capacity of around 300,000 tonnes per year.
