The Jagannath Temple in Puri, India, has decided to complete the inventory of its refurbished 'Ratna Bhandar' (treasury) by April 2026. The inventory will include digitization of ornaments and valuable items. The temple authorities also plan to bring back silver ingots worth Rs 90 crore, currently stored at the district armoury, after a legal battle. The ingots were recovered from Emar Mutt, a 1500-year-old monastery, in 2011.
